TOPIC: Downloading to Final Cut Pro

Hi,
I have downloaded my first Movietool file successfully to my Mac desktop but Final Cut Pro won't import it. It plays OK in Windows Media Player. But FCP isn't recognising the file type. Can anyone help?

I think the problem is in WMV format. MacOS doesn´t recognize Windows movie video. Maybe you could convert this files from WMV to AVI, or MPEG files. THis should be recognized also in MAC os.

Maybe you could try this software:

Flip4Mac

The Studio Version should support WMV for Final Cut Pro.

Your problem is most definately the format that the file is in,For use on your Mac it will need converting.If you need any more help contact me.
